Love Warrior Video: Love Your Tree in “America the Beautiful”

Do you love your body? If you went into a classroom full of 15 year old girls, you probably wouldn’t get a positive response. So many girls will stand in front of a mirror and notice every single flaw about them. Pick and choose which parts to change, to make smaller, some bigger and keep only one thing the same. We are constantly comparing ourselves to other “trees’ in our schools, on our jobs, on the street, in the malls, everywhere! But watch this video to hear Eve Ensler concentrate on loving her tree. Notice that she struggled with the same issues, loving her stomach but she overcame this issue with positive feedback from a woman she barely even knew.

What are ways that you can love your tree? How do you define beauty? How can you inspire someone to look inside themselves and see the beauty that you see. “You’ve got to love your body!”
