Love Warrior Poetry
It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Poetry is an opportunity for you to take the images, emotions and musings inside of yourself and to turn them into something more tangible. If you are feeling happy, sad, anxious, excited, angry — what do these feelings look like on paper? How would you describe them?
Poetry allows you to use your creativity to explore yourself. Through writing a poem, your focus is put on the words, their connotations, how they flow within the context of their sentences. Poems are short, so each word counts. Each word is its own world. It gives off energy, it creates sounds that glide or abruptly fall off the tongue.
With poetry, you’re allowed to delve into deep issues with so few words — how does that feel? Inspiring? Restricting?
Use poetry to help you decipher your emotions and the messages they are trying to tell you. Share poetry that resonates with you and share poetry that you have created to activate the Love Warrior inside of yourself and others.

To Know The Dark
To go in the dark with a light is to know the light.
To know the dark, go dark. Go without sight,
and find that the dark too, blooms and sings,
and is traveled by dark feet and dark wings.
